We're looking for a full-time Front End JavaScript/PHP Developer to work with our product team on building and improving the user interface for our social search engine.
Responsabilities:
- Work with our Product team to build and improve the user interface for our social search engine
- Implement web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript based on mockups from our designer
- Code in PHP with a MySQL datastore as well as our proprietary API
- Design and build usable tools to support various methodologies
- Documenting, testing and debugging.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript with jQuery
- Solid understanding and experience with PHP
- Experience building cross-browser user interfaces
- Strong passion for user experience and accessibility
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
- Pro-active and team player
Pluses:
- Experience with Sphinx, Cassandra, Memcached
- Contributed to open-source software
- Active use of social media
- Previous startup experience

Browser Technology Developer

We're looking for a full-time JavaScript Ninja to work on the browser extensions and add-ons that complement our social search engine. These products enhance the user experience by adding a social layer on top of the browser, allowing users to find useful social results whenever they search or browse the web.
Responsabilities:
- Developing browser extensions (a.k.a. plug-ins or add-ons) for Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari
- Developing server side APIs used by extensions
- Versioning, monitoring and debugging
- Keeping up-to-date with browser updates and progress
- Being flexible and able to work on new things that'll pop up
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Javascript and jQuery
- Interest in developing browser extensions and add-ons
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
- Pro-active and team player
Pluses:
- Knowledge of C++ and Internet Explorer's BHO.
- Contributed to open-source software
- Active use of social media
- Previous startup experience
